

EVA DONOGHUE

Eva Donoghue is an award winning composer known for her work in television, film, and games. In 2023, she was highly commended in the BBC Young Composer competition, and has since been featured on BBC One for her conducting and arrangements of ‘Tarantula’ for the 2025 Lady Mayor’s march. Her recent credits include A Woman of Substance (Channel 4) as well as Rivals (Disney+).
In 2024 Eva orchestrated for singer Corinne Bailey Rae for her Roundhouse performance of Black Rainbows. Her orchestration was mentioned in the Times as ‘An inspired idea, superbly executed’ .
Eva's compositions have been performed by world-class ensembles including the London Symphony Orchestra, Wells Cathedral Choir, and the VGM Ensemble. Her music often blends rich orchestral textures with electronic elements, creating hybrid music for media. She gravitates toward raw, primal sounds using unconventional instruments and voices, as heard in her work for Seasons Of Solitude which won the international indie game music competition 2025.

Recent Work
Black Rainbows Tour
Eva Donoghue arranged and orchestrated the song 'he Will Follow You With His Eyes' by Corrine Bailey-Rae for the Black Rainbows tour. The piece was performed by the Guildhall Session Orchestra and was conducted by Sam Dinley. The arrangement premiered at the Roundhouse on the 27th April 2025.

In 2025 Eva Donoghue had her composition of 'Never Let Me Go' performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. This was the result of her winning a multi-round composing competition set by Guildhall school of music and Drama in collaboration with the Academy Award Winning Composer Rachel Portman. Within the recording session, Eva received mentorship from Rachel. She states:
'It was an honour to have my music performed by such incredible musicians, under the guidance of a composer who's been an inspiration to me throughout my career.'
